Let´s surface your future.

Together, we develop the perfect Elesgo surface for your product. Customised for your work-flow, achieved with our years of experience and acquired know-how.

EBC technology

One technology.
Countless possibilities.

The cross-linking of lacquer systems with electron beams offers a wide range of possibilities. We are constantly researching in order to expand into new areas of application and to provide Elesgo surfaces with ever new characteristics. Aiming to further adapt the surfaces to the needs of our customers.

Whether the special soft-touch feel or a surface with antibacterial characteristics: there are few limits to EBC technology.

Countless advantages in production

The environmentally friendly production process using electron beam curing has a remarkably low energy consumption as well as it is emission-free. This manufacturing process provides the best working conditions for the production team, in addition to the complete forgoing of solvents and formaldehyde.

Every surface of ours is characterised by an extremely long life cycle under the highest demands of the everyday use. The Elesgo surfaces are exceptionally cross-linked, low-odoured, scratch-resistant, and easily cleaned.

Each of the surfaces acquires different characteristics for every application area through the transference of microscopic structures: From super matt to high gloss to anti-fingerprint.

Aufbau der Elesgo-Oberflächen

Surface structure

The Elesgo surface is composed out of a primer, a base-coat and a top-coat. First, these are applied to the substrate one after another, then all varnish layers are cured using our patent electron beam curing (EBC) process. EBC grants the surface an extremely long life cycle.

The plain or decorative papers determine the final appearance. Here, we do everything possible to create the Elesgo surface which meets every of your needs and forms a perfect fit for your product.
The surfaces can be further processed to high-pressure or continuous-pressure laminates. Additionally, it is possible to process the Elesgo surfaces to compact panels.

The Release Film transfers the special matt look and feel to the Elesgo surface. The wafer-thin film can remain as a protective film on the surface until the product is installed. At the end, the top layer is simply peeled off. Exactly like this, your Elesgo surface is produced.

Your design with our surface?
No problem with Ghost Skin

The transparent overlay Elesgo ghost skin, which is by far one of our most adaptable surfaces, allows almost all surface patterns and textures to be equipped with the quality and durability of the Elesgo surface. Ghost skin adds the outer durable and tactile characteristics of the Elesgo clean touch to any decorative surfaces.

Production process

The Elesgo surface’s substrate generally consists of paper or foils which is partially impregnated in the first step to guarantee resistance to splitting.

This is followed by the first layer of lacquer. Here, a base coat is applied which provides the unique Elesgo characteristics to the surface. Depending on the desired product and its intended use, another coat of paint is applied on top of the still wet based coat, the topcoat.

Next, the texture is embedded in the still wet lacquer. While both varnish layers are still wet the Release Film is applied on top to imprint the desired texture into the surface.

Finally, the complete product is cured using our patented electron beam technology.

The finished product is stored on rolls and ready for dispatch.
