At interzum 2025 in Cologne, DTS unveiled its new surface innovation: ELESGO scrambled. This surface combines a striking visual and tactile appeal with an unprecedented scratch resistance of up to 9 Newtons. This durability was impressively demonstrated on heavily used exhibition pieces – even clearly audible scratching sounds left no marks on the surfaces of tables and counters, much to the amazement of many visitors.
The scratch resistance claimed by the DTS team was initially met with scepticism, as such a high level of durability had never before been measured or documented in the industry. However, leading manufacturers of laminates have since confirmed the scratch resistance of up to 9 Newtons.
The new anti-fingerprint surface is ideal for heavily used horizontal areas. Its irregular, organically inspired pattern evokes natural materials such as wood, stone, or sand, creating a visual depth effect. At the same time, the surface feels smooth and pleasant to the touch and is easy to clean.
ELESGO scrambled is produced by DTS in any desired solid colour, using pigmented, radiation-cured coatings. Well-known decorative prints can also be combined with this texture and coating technology. Custom textures can additionally be transferred to the surface, for example using press plates. The new surface is available now.
Technology and sustainability in harmony
All ELESGO surfaces are cured using EBC technology, which is low-emission, solvent-free, and particularly energy-efficient. Energy consumption is less than one percent – a clear advantage for resource-conscious production.
In addition, DTS uses only FSC-certified papers and – wherever possible – recycled materials. Alongside their extreme durability, ELESGO surfaces are also easy to maintain and clean. They meet the highest standards for hygiene and environmental compatibility.
